Meet Our Guest Artist: Steven Taylor, Baritone

The Denver Brass is proud to welcome renowned Baritone vocalist Steven Taylor as one of our two guest artists for Once Upon a Christmas, THIS WEEKEND on December 16, 2:00pm & 7:30pm, and December 17, 2:00pm at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts. Taylor is one of our favorite guest artists and has performed with us at dozens of concerts over our 37 years.

Steven Taylor is the Dean of the School of Music at CCU (Colorado Christian University). He is known to audiences throughout the Rocky Mountain region both for his beautiful, expressive singing, and his dramatic interpretations. His versatile singing career ranges from opera to oratorio, to musical theatre and gospel, appearing with major symphonies throughout the west, including the Central City Opera, Opera Theatre of the Rockies, Boulder's Dinner Theatre, Opera Colorado and two soloist performances in Carnegie Hall. As a member of the internationally acclaimed Gospel Quartet LEGACY, Steven has performed concert tours in Australia, Canada, Cuba and South Korea.

He will bring tears to your eyes with "I'll Be Home for Christmas," and Leonard Cohen's famous, "Hallelujah," and will have the whole family smiling with "Santa Baby" and a "Christmas Favorites" medley including White Christmas, Silver Bells and The Christmas Song.
