Celebrate all things Celtic at Brass, Bagpipes & Co: Off Kilt-er!, March 16-18 at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts. Don your kilts for a weekend filled with brass, bagpipes, drums, vocals, fiddle, guitar, organ, and Irish and Scottish dancers!
Throw your cares to the wind and join in our Celtic extravaganza, as we welcome over 30 guest performers to the stage. We are excited to feature Celtic Colorado Pipes & Drums, Rocky Mountain Highland Dancers, Wick School of Irish Dance, Joanna & Iain Hyde on fiddle & guitar, and fan-favorite tenor vocalist Todd Teske. Better still, 4 of the featured dancers are national and world champions, including two world medal holders from the World Irish Dance Championships, which feature only the top 1% of all Irish dancers!
Kilts will adorn both performers and audience members alike, so feel free to dress in your favorite Celtic garb! We'll be featuring Celtic standards including Scotland the Brave, Highland Cathedral and Amazing Grace. Todd Teske's tenor vocals will melt your heart on O Danny Boy, I'm Thinking Ever Thinking, and Morning Has Broken. And the cherry on top of our Celtic sundae will be the Scottish and Irish dancers, who will join fiddler & guitarist Joanna & Iain Hyde for Molly on the Shore, Sailor's Hornpipe, and more!
