Guest Artist Insight: Rick Seaton

About Rick
Rick Seaton holds a Master of Music degree in organ performance from Indiana University and a bachelor of Music. While at Indiana University he studied organ and church music with Marilyn Keiser. Rick Seaton also holds a degree in piano performance from the University of Denver. As a performer, he is most often heard as organist and pianist at Bethany Lutheran Church in Denver. Active as a recitalist, he often performs with local ensembles such as the Denver Brass, Canto Deo, and the Cherry Creek Chorale.

Composer
In the church music field, Rick has composed and arranged extensively, with works for organ, choir, and brass, as well as liturgical settings for the congregation. His collection of organ postludes, "Go Out With Joy," was published by Augsburg Fortress in 2014. Rick also composes for solo piano and has released to CD's "Such Dreams" and "Ivory Angels."

Teacher
