BOREAS PASS RAILROAD DAY

  • Como Roundhouse 441-463 Boreas Pass Road Como, CO, 80432 United States (map)

The narrow gauge Denver, South-Park and Pacific Railroad reached Como Colorado in 1879. Through it passed thousands of pioneers eager to unearth the wealth buried in the mountains beyond Boreas Pass. The Denver Brass brings the trains back to Como for a historically informed concert of Celtic, Americana, and other timeless favorites at Boreas Pass Railroad Day August 19 at 2:30.

Bring your own chair and help us turn the historic Como Roundhouse into the most unique concert venue above 9,000ft. The Boreas Pass Railroad Day festival and concert are FREE admission so gather up your family and come west with us!

Save the driving hassle and enjoy the comfortable restroom-equipped motor coach excursion to this famous historic railroad site. Included is an optional side trip to nearby Fairplay for lunch and browsing from 11:00 to 1:15, back in time for the concert. Bring your light weight lawn chair (with name tag) for the concert, if you like. Click the link below for more information:
